ICYMI – Confessions Extended

Last week, the Society for Marketing Professional Services, Atlanta Chapter (SMPS Atlanta) hosted a half-day workshop to sharpen content creation skills. “Confessions of a Content Whisperer: Cracking the Code to Extract Data from Your Technical Team” was led by Danielle Grey, a recipient of the 2017 SMPS Rising Star award, who provided a hands-on approach on how to extract information from every type of team member. Whether you need technical data from someone who is perpetually too busy or are working with a “know-it-all” on a proposal, Danielle outfitted the group with skills to work with any type of team member.

Hosted at Pond’s Peachtree Corners office, nearly 50 marketers in the architecture, engineering, and constructions (AEC) industry came out for the half-day training. After an incredible breakfast spread, Danielle hit the ground running outlining scenarios, personas, and helpful tips on the best format for getting the right information from the right people. Whether you’re a marketer working on a proposal or even developing digital content, Danielle gave the roadmap you’ll need to navigate any situate. The 3-hour session wrapped up with a role playing challenge, further solidifying the skills learned throughout the workshop.
