Committee Spotlight: Programs

The Programs Committee, led by Sarah Appleton, PE, SE (Principal at Wallace Engineering), develops, plans and produces all luncheon programs that SMPS Atlanta puts on each year. The content is geared to client panels and speakers with a goal of providing education and insight on topics relevant to the A/E/C industry and current market conditions.

The Programs Committee includes: Lisa Roberson, CPSM (Griffith Engineering); Beth Harris, CPSM (United Consulting); Kim Williams, CPSM (JE Dunn); Whitney Thrower (Balfour Beatty); Theresa King (Gleeds); and Jeanie Janson (KSI/Structural Engineers).

Member Spotlight: Chelsea Webb

Chelsea Webb is the Director of Marketing at PSG Construction, a construction management firm and one of the 20 fastest-growing companies in the Atlanta area. Since joining SMPS Atlanta in 2012, Chelsea has actively served on the education committee, helped plan the Annual Shoot for Success Sporting Clays Tournament in support of the ACE Mentor program, and co-chaired coordinating the monthly Group Therapy sessions.

Chelsea is a graduate of Georgia State University where she received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing in 2010. Like most A/E/C marketers, she somewhat randomly fell into her marketing role with a construction firm in 2011 and found her passion for strategizing and helping companies achieve great things. Working for both construction and architecture firms over the past 6 years, Chelsea has a well-rounded understanding of professional services marketing in the A/E/C ind
