Bootcamp: Everything You Can Get from Google But Were Afraid to Ask!
SMPS Atlanta kicked off this year’s boot camp series with this event, where attendees learned how to leverage Google, or your favorite search engine, to find insider information. Attendees learned how to:
- Stop performing repetitive internet searches—learn how to automate searches so you are regularly informed about potential projects, important clients, and the latest trends in our industry.
- Bypass gatekeepers—find contact information for the person with whom you need to be speaking.
- Don’t get stuck reading websites full of information—conduct searches of any website regardless of whether it has a “search” box.
These are just a few examples of the tricks and tips that were taught in this sesssion to search smarter, not harder.
