Lee Jarboe, CPSM
Lee D. Jarboe, CPSM, is currently the Director of Client Services for McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. in Atlanta, GA, a 100% employee owned general contracting and construction management firm. She has been in this role since the end of 2007 and prior to that was the Director of Marketing and Business Development for HARTRAMPF, Inc., a small engineering and architectural firm.
Jarboe brings almost 10 years of experience in sales, marketing and business development in the A/E/C community as well as 3 years in the entertainment industry and 3 years in the hospitality industry. Her diverse background provides a unique perspective and creative ideas for furthering SMPS’s mission.
Jarboe’s success in leading non-profit organizations includes her work with the Society for Marketing Professional Society (SMPS) Atlanta, the Atlanta Center for Creative Inquiry (ACCI), the University of Houston Alumni Association Atlanta Club and volunteering with Delta Gamma Fraternity. Since joining SMPS in 2002 Jarboe was named New Member of the Year in 2003 and Marketer of the Year in 2009. She has served SMPS Atlanta as the Director of Membership, Treasurer, President-Elect, President and Immediate Past President respectively and currently sits on the Executive Advisory Council. During her tenure as President, the chapter received five award recognitions out of the five available and Jarboe established the Georgia A/E/C Leadership Roundtable which she remains the active administrator for this group. She has also served SMPS National on the Marketing and Communications Awards Committee, the National Certification Committee and the Career Pathways Task Force.
Jarboe currently serves as the Chairperson for ACCI and since 2006 has been working to further its mission to mentor, educate, and develop creative abilities in youth to promote greater diversity in the architecture, engineering and construction professions.
Jarboe received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston and is a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM). Originally from Houston, Texas, Lee now resides in Alpharetta, GA with her husband and daughter, and when not working, she enjoys family time, volunteering, traveling, camping and fishing.
